Dr. Jan Groen is a distinguished leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, with a career spanning several decades. Formerly the Chairman & CEO of Intravacc in the Netherlands, a contract development and manufacturing organization for innovative human vaccines, Dr. Groen has a wealth of experience in advancing medical and scientific enterprises.

He served as CEO at MDxHealth (MDXH), where he established the company as a market-leading molecular diagnostic uro-oncology firm in the U.S. and EU. Prior to that, as President and COO of Agendia, he was responsible for diagnostic operations in the U.S. and EU and led the introduction of the first FDA-cleared breast cancer recurrence assay in the U.S.

Dr. Groen has also held prominent positions such as VP of Research & Development at Focus Diagnostics, a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics in California, and co-founded ViroClinics B.V. and DxOrange B.V. His extensive scientific leadership includes roles at the Erasmus Medical Center, RIVM (National Institute of Public Health, NL), and Akzo-Nobel. Additionally, he has served on the boards of IBL-International (DE) and MyCartis (BE), and currently holds positions as Chairman of the Board at Cergentis (NL), independent director at Novigenix (CH), and Chairman of the Board at Angle Plc. (UK).
